Daffodil

Oh how beautiful they are
Those tiny trumpets
of pure gold,
Bringing a smile to
all who behold them.

The Easter bunnies

The easter bunnies are running round and round
They run that fast they leap off the ground
They jump up and down
From side to side
Its like they are on a rollercoaster ride
They burrow in your garden
And make such a mess
Next thing you know
They advertise them in the daily express

On This Fine Easter Morning

Silent as the wind,
she bounds through the fields,
hyper and alive,
the cute wittle bunny,
hurridly ate the delicious treat she found,
and taking extra on this fine easter morning,
bounded back to her home to feed her darling little angles,
as they stirred from their slumber,
happyly and excited they ate and rubbed the sleep from their faces and ran out to play,
mother and babies having the time of their lives,
mother looks up at the sky wishing for father to be here,
on this fine easter morning.

To remember

I remember color like glittering sun on stone
You cracked an egg of yellow and gold
I remember running free and wild
Gathering the eggs I eventually piled
I remember grandma’s house and creaking floorboard sound
Neighbors come to participate in adventures; gather round
I remember chasing ducks near the lake
While mother stood near the stove with things to bake
I remember bunnies, sweet and cradled kindly
To remind us that we grope for petty things blindly
I remember winning prizes and water balloon fights
Soaking through and laughing till’ we accrued too many mosquito bites
I remember fun and family, food and friends
Twilight snuffed the dawn and eventually ends
I remember, maybe, the things I loved to do
I remember all those Easters, young and old, I got to spend with you.

E ; It’s the Ether wood that burns free
A; Only the night is Alight with flame
S; You cannot Stop this beauty
T; Perhaps a Tribute to pagan holiday
E; The Easter that you stole from us
R; Can hope to Repent from sins of old

A pregnant moon:
    Heavy anticipation -
Stained in blood,
      In lust,
         Pastels –
    Flowers and foes:
      A life cartel.
  The sun reborn:
      A universe
       Inside itself,
      Beside the rest,
        Adorned.
Frolic in heat
     Impassioned,
        Entranced –
Remember the spring,
      Enjoy the dance.
